Quick concept

Just posted this here, to add something. First quick design, i need to work on my colours, my original line work i feel is better but things start to go wrong once added colour, so took longer than i wanted. I am going to do 8 of these once i've done them ill post a line up of them all. Its not polished at all~! 

Inactive

Well i've been inactive, one of the curses of doing creative thing is when you get discouraged is hard to push through it. So i'm going to get back on the horse, been doing sketches in my book still so haven't completely stopped. Pushing into high mode, working on some character concepts for an indie game i want to do; im also a programmer and been working on a game engine design to be used as well. its a blessing i am able to live in both worlds of programming and art, just sometimes i get distracted by the other.

So incoming art soon i hope :P

Influence Map

Saw a study group at CA, one of their assignments was to do a Influence Map, so here is mine. Kept the images a bit big but as i find more ill update it. It has some of my favorite artists.

Just a frog drawing from some references, practicing colour mainly. It is missing the finishing bit to it like proper lighting added, ill make sure to do this on my next one.

Dragon warrior

Currently just doing sketches to gain back some of my confidence, been sticking more to an asian type theme in them. Here is one hoping to fully complete, so its a WIP. One of the main things i want to work on it more is the dragon on his hand, just did a basic represent of it for the time being.

This blog

I guess the first thing on this is to say what this blog is for, well i needed a way to get myself to do art and draw. Hoping that with this blog i can take some sort of responsibility to keep putting things here. I have decided that no matter the quality if its finished or not it needs to be put up here. I do hope no one looks here, but for me i need to stop being self critical on what im doing, it has for a long time stunted my creative side.

Kinda felt the need to explain myself, idk why though =P

I hope this sort of freedom a blog brings will help me develop, its kinda like a journal(even though i've never had one) its good to just forget put things out there not caring if they get seen or not, because there is a good chance it wont.
